St. Pius X parish

St. Pius X parish is an oblate parish located at Charlotte Abad Christian town Samungli Road Quetta. There are two priests serving in the parish namely Rev. Fr. Khawer Meboob OMI the parish priest and Rev. Fr. Sajjad Yousaf OMI his assistant. This is a vast parish in terms of its area in Quetta Vicariate. There are over two hundred Catholic families very devoted to their Christian Catholic tradition and faith. The parish looks after seven sub-stations and some small villages namely; Christian Town, Mariam colony, Ghar colony, FC colony, PAF Base, Pishin, and Chaman. Most of the parishioners are educated having a good reputation in the Governmental sector even at private sector in Quetta city. However, in its suburbs, people are uneducated and affiliated with sanitary works. Keeping in mind the charism of the Founder St. Eugene De Mazenod we continue to serve the most abandoned and marginalized of our society.

Parish Groups

The parish has different groups  such as  legion of Mary, Sunday Schools, youth groups, and boys association are very much helpful for the parish activities. As the Founder says “look at the poor through the eyes of the crucified savior” we the Oblates reach out to the marginalized, neglected, and the most abundant given in our care through the Apostolic Vicariate of Quetta Balochistan
