His Excellency Bishop Victor Gnanapragasam the Apostolic Vicar of Quetta, Balochistan created a new Parish namely “CHRIST THE KING”.

On the FEAST OF CHRIST THE KING in 2009, it was officially declared as a separate parish. Earlier it was a part of Sacred Heart Parish with the old name Don Bosco.

Rev. Fr. Cecil Paul OMI was appointed as the first Parish Priest of “Christ the King Parish” in 2009-2012. In 2010 another Church was opened namely St. John Vianney Church on Spiny Road. Earlier it was a boarding school namely Alfalah hostel. Rev. Fr. Otto Postima OFM was the founder of Alfalah Hostel. After his death in (…) hostel was handed over to the Salesians of Don Bosco till 2009.
